A two day conference on data processes and protection has been opened at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.
The programme which brought both local and international data processors and controllers is expected to discuss issues affecting data controls, protection and processes in the country to enable participants come out with some inputs for implementation of the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
The conference was chaired by Justice Samuel Kofi Date- Bah, a retired Supreme Court Judge and opened by Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Minister of Communications.
