The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is hosting its final rally today, December 5, ahead of Saturday’s general elections, attracting a massive crowd and energised supporters.
The rally is taking place at the University of Ghana (UG), Legon campus, specifically the Sports Directorate park opposite the Sports Stadium.

The NPP aims to make its final appeal to Ghanaians, urging them to vote for continuity and keep the party in power as they head to the polls on December 7.

The event is being led by the NPP’s 2024 elections flagbearer and Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. Joining him are President Nana Akufo-Addo, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and other prominent members of the party, who are expected to address the enthusiastic crowd.

Ahead of the rally, traders have taken advantage of the occasion, selling party paraphernalia to eager supporters. Party loyalists from across the country have gathered at the rally grounds to demonstrate their support for Dr Bawumia’s candidacy.
