The stylish kit was unveiled on the club's pre-season tour of Japan, and features the iconic gingham check which reflects the club's industrial heritage.
The shirt has a black collar with the club crest embroidered on the heart of it in a midnight navy and white.
The away shorts have a thin navy blue strip on the back of them and the socks contain the traditional United bar design.
More importantly, the shirt adheres to Nike's commitment of watching its carbon footprint.
The kit is made from recycled polyester and the shirts and shorts of each kit are made from recycled plastic water bottles.
Furthermore, the kit is quite light, weighing just 150 grams, which is 23 per cent light than previous Nike kits.
United have been busy fulfilling commercial obligations during the Japanese leg of their tour, and some of the players starred in a bizarre advert promoting tomato juice.
