The opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Weekly Press Briefing will focus on the party’s health policies as stated in its ‘People’s Manifesto.’
The NDC among other things has pledged to ensure survivors of gender violence, especially rape survivors are able to access free healthcare services.
Victims currently pay for medical examinations, a situation some people believe has made it difficult for many rape victims to report to the police.
The 13th edition is taking place at the party’s headquarters in Adabraka, Accra.
