Flagbearer aspirant for the People's National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah, is demanding that the party album be made available for all presidential aspirants.
According to him, this is to ensure transparency and fairness ahead of the presidential primaries on August 31.
“Having submitted my application and nominations when received, we hope that you would do the needful by giving us the voters album of the national delegates congress so that we would be able to know the number of delegates per constituency, per region and also from the national so we can monitor," he said.
He made this comments after submitting his bid for the party's presidential slot on August 16.
Mr Mornah argued that the Electoral Commission (EC) has already published the voters' register for the December elections hence he could not understand why a political party needed more time.
"The EC of Ghana that is to conduct elections in December has already come out with the voters register. How much more time do you need to be able to compile an internal register," he asked.
The presidential aspirant assured that his team would be peaceful but firm, stressing that their quietness should not be mistaken for timidity.
Meanwhile, he said he was the solution to Ghana’s economic crisis.
“I have been fully ready to lead the people of Ghana out of our current economic difficulties," he said.
He is optimistic that his presence and that of the party would be felt in the upcoming elections.
The presidential aspirants promised a new era of leadership and prosperity for Ghana if given the political mandate.
