President of Senior Staff Association of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Mr. Charles Nii Kwadey Offei Palm has been picked up following fears he could foment mayhem.
The Dansoman Police who confirmed the incident on Joy FM, Thursday, said they invited the President and General Secretary for questioning on the basis of a letter by the Chief Executive Officer, Rev. Albert Opkoti Botwe.
In the letter, the CEO of the hospital expressed suspicion the leadership of the Asscociation was up to something mischievous.
The invitation comes 24 hours after the Association petitioned President John Mahama alleging misuse of internally generated funds by the management of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The petition which generated a spirited response from the hospital's CEO was to be followed by a senior staff meeting Thursday afternoon. The leadership of the Association is meeting to plan the next course of action.
The two men have since been released and have left the police station for work where they will be meeting their colleagues.
