The 2013 graduating class of the Queen Egyima International School in Obuasi has invested in the lives of teachers and students of their alma mater to promote teaching and learning at the school.
The group donated items to the school in celebration of a decade after exiting the four walls of the school in 2013.
Including stationery, refreshments, and cash the group donated items worth 5,000 Ghana cedis to the school to support its activities.

The graduating class also erected a signpost for the school to ease access and location to the school’s premises.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Kofi Konadu Williams, the welfare head of the group, impressed upon the essence of contributing back to their alma mater.
He indicated that the good guidance and tuition from both teaching and non-teaching staff of the school catapulted their growth in life.
Among other activities, students of the school enjoyed a mentorship session with the past students of the school.

From career guidance and life coaching experience, some members of the group advised the students on investing their time and resources to their education.
The group also presented citations and cash donations to teachers and non-teaching staff as a token of appreciation for facilitating their upbringing and continuously serving the interests of many young students in Obuasi.
Receiving the items on behalf of the school, Headmaster, Isaac Adu-Gyamfi expressed his profound gratitude to the group as it was the first time any graduating class of the school had made such a donation.
He emphasized on the roles of past students contributing to the development of their basic schools, and not only their secondary schools.
Queen Egyima International School is the premiere private basic school in the Obuasi and Adansi enclave in the Ashanti region.
