The family of late former President Jerry John Rawlings has scheduled a commemorative Mass in honour of his passing on Friday, November 12, 2021.
The day will be exactly a year since the former Statesman passed on.
"The Memorial Mass will be held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, and is open to the public. It is expected to draw people from all walks of life from government officials, traditional leaders, political leaders, MPs, diplomats, cadres, and many more admirers and sympathisers," a statement by the family said.
The service, being held by the family, will promptly commence at 9 am and last for approximately one and a half hours.
"All those who wish to attend are urged to arrive at the Cathedral early and should note that due to Covid-19 requirements, social distancing seating will be in effect.
"The event will also be streamed on the Facebook page of President J.J Rawlings," the statement said.

In December 1992, he was democratically elected as President of the Republic and ruled for eight years after securing a securing victory in his second term bid in 1996.
