Fees and charges for services provided by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) are set to increase from Monday, February 2, 2026.
According to the Office, the adjustment is in line with the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which mandates a review of fees and charges for services rendered by public institutions.
The revision will affect all services provided by the Office nationwide.
Services Affected
In a notice seen by Joy Business, the Office of the Registrar of Companies indicated that the fee increase will apply across the full spectrum of its services.
These include, but are not limited to, company incorporation, business name registration, and other related services.
The Office explained that the revision aims to ensure sustainable service delivery and improve customer experience across the country.
New Charges
The Office of the Registrar of Companies did not disclose the new rates in the notice.
However, it stated that comprehensive details of the revised fees and charges will be made available at all Registrar offices nationwide and published on the Office’s official website ahead of the effective date.
The Office has also advised the public and all service users to take note of the revised fees and make the necessary arrangements for transactions to be undertaken after the implementation date.
The development comes amid a broader compliance drive by state institutions, departments, and agencies to align with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, passed by Parliament.
Last week, the National Identification Authority announced an increase in fees for some of its services, citing the need to maintain and improve the quality of service delivery.
