Experts who investigated last year’s crash of a Nigerian cargo aircraft, Allied Air in Accra are due to make public the cause of the crash later today.
The committee is expected to present its final report to government at a ceremony in Accra.
The aircraft overshot the runway at the Kotoka International Airport on landing, destroying the Instrument Landing System Localiser Bars, and broke through the airport perimeter wall killing nine persons in a bus and one on a motorbike.
A preliminary report presented by the committee last year indicated an unstable approach leading to the runway excursion.
However, the black box of the plane was recovered and flown to the United States to obtain data that would assist in the determination of the probable cause or causes of the crash.
