Ghana's high-flying talent production house, Right to Dream Academy, on Sunday, July 9, organised a trial session to identify female talents in the country.
The trial, which took place at the McDan Astro Turf saw hundreds of young girls between the ages of 9 to 15 make themselves available to impress the coaching staff of Right to Dream.
Despite the intention of the academy to first identify talents, it was also a way of creating an environment where females could have fun by playing amongst themselves.
Speaking to Joy Sports following the end of the trial, Kylee Parsons, who is a women's and girls' football strategist revealed the purpose of the event.
"We have done a lot of boys' events and even at the academy, we have girls. But a lot of them have been scouted through events with the boys," she said.

"We wanted to have an event with all girls so they could be comfortable playing with other girls in an environment where they can be the best. We did this as a fun day and also to look for talent and inspire the next generation of girls coming through."
Parsons also added that those who got the opportunity to be selected will be given the opportunity to come to the academy's house to continue the process.
"Some of the girls that showed a lot of talent and we see [they] have potential, they will come to the academy in a few weeks' time for residential trial and we will see how they are football-wise and academically, how they can fit in and we will determine whether receive a scholarship at the Right to Dream Academy," she continued.
Among some of the girls present at the trial were players of Maxwell Woledzi's Hijabi project as well as players from Ridge City's academy.
In the last few years, the academy has contributed to the production of talent for the men's national teams with Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Maxwell Woledzi, Yaw Yeboah and most recently Ernest Nuamah.
