Rotarian Willie Oduro Bisa Keteku, a Governor of the Rotary Club, on Tuesday called on Rotarians to debunk the widely held notion by some people that the Club is elitist.
He said such a move would help the Club to realise its social and civil responsibilities and also encourage craftsmen, farmers and traders among other professionals to join the Rotary.
Rotarian Keteku, a Governor for West Africa Rotary (excluding Nigeria), said these when he was interacting with members of the Kumasi East and Kumasi Clubs as part of a familiarization tour.
He urged members to recruit and retain qualified members to guarantee the future of the club.
