Samuel Eto'o has stressed that he does not regret his decision to leave Inter for Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer transfer window.
The Cameroon international has been criticised for leaving Serie A for the Russian league, but he has now responded by insisting he is very happy with life at his new club.
"A lot of people criticised me when I opted to leave Italy for Russia. However, I'm convinced that I made the right decision to leave Inter," Eto'o said in an interview with Canal Plus.
"I am feeling very well in Russia and don't have the intention to return to west Europe."
The prolific striker then took the time to respond to rumours linking him with a move to Ligue 1 big-spenders Paris Saint-Germain.
"Paris Saint-Germain? We will see what happens if the opportunity comes up. However, I am very happy with life here for now."
The 30-year-old attacker has a contract with Anzhi which runs until June 2014.
