First lady of Royal House Chapel International has charged Ghanaians to seek peace and pursue it in the lead up to the December 7 polls.
Rev Rita Korankye said there is a need to maintain peace regardless of ones tribe, adding that elections is an opportunity to elect a leader.
“Election is only an opportunity to select who you believe can lead your nation, pursue peace with all men, be it a Frafra, Dagomba, Hausa, Nzamaa, Adamgbe, a Ga, or an Ewe.”
“Don’t kill yourselves because of an election, don’t hate your brother, sister or a fellow Ghanaian because of an election.”
She also called on women to continuously offer prayers for the nation before, during and after the elections.
Rev Rita Korankye is part of the influential and spiritual mothers of the land, lined up to preach peace on “Joy Time in His Presence” on Joy FM ahead of the general elections.
