Regina Ofori, a brand director and consummate marketer has highlighted the need for creative industry stakeholders to be part of the third edition of Joy FM’s ‘Showbiz Roundtable.’
‘Showbiz Roundtable’ is a Joy FM event comprising an assembly of creative arts people, held periodically to address thought leadership conversations.
The third edition of the programme will be held at the Labadi Beach Hotel on July 29, 2023.
Speaking on Joy Prime, Regina said most times people in the culture and creative industry have misconceptions about why their sponsorship proposals are not granted.
“I am looking forward to corporate and creative industries understanding each other and hopefully I will be able to throw more light on how we view sponsorship in many corporate organisations and that will help the creatives to understand some of the few things we look at, some of the pointers and how we go about our decision making,” Regina noted.
“It’s to help all of us understand each other and foster a mutually beneficial relationship going into the future,” she added.
Regina Ofori is among the panelists for billed for the programme.
Themed ‘securing sponsorship for events and creative content’, the programme will also have other panel members like Baba Sadiq - Founder : 3Music TV & WILDALAND Fest, Latif Abubakar - Playwright & CEO of Globe productions, Ivan Quashiga - Film Maker, Creative Director & Founder of Farmhouse Productions and Kobina Atta-Bedu, Procurement Expert And Management Consultant.
The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey is the guest speaker for the 3rd edition.
The keynote speakers are playwright and author Uncle Ebo Whyte and Bright Ladzekpo, CEO at PH Media Ghana Ltd.
Showbiz Roundtable seeks to understand how creative people can get sponsorships from corporate institutions and entities for their content and events.
There will be an opportunity to shed light on what both Corporate Ghana and the creative industry stakeholders require of each other with regards to sponsorship.
The ‘Showbiz Roundtable’ will also spot the challenges faced by both parties in the sponsorship chain.
The third edition of the programme will be moderated by the host of ‘Showbiz A-Z’, Kwame Dadzie.
It will air on Joy 99.7 FM from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
