Ghanaian gospel musician Siisi Baidoo has been adjudged Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2024 Praise Achievement Awards.
Siisi beat off competition from other artistes such as Joe Mettle, Luigi Maclean, Kofi Owusu Pepreh, Perez Musik, Kwaku Teye, Kyei Mensah, Carl Clottey, Nacee, Kobbe Mante, Michael Magnus Mensah and TMC Musique, to win this slot.
Over the years, he has distinguished himself with his rich music content and unrivaled vocal dexterity.
He has to his credit, songs such as 'Otim Ho Daa', 'Fire', 'Jesus in My Boat', 'Mede W'ayeyi', 'Hymns of God', among others.
The event which was held on November 24, 2024 at the Perez Dome in Accra, had in attendance various personalities in the gospel music and Christian community.
Other musicians who won awards at the ceremony were Nacee, Piesie Esther, Queendalyn, Scott Evans, Lordina the Soprano, Joe Mettle, among others.
The Praise Achievement Awards aims at honouring greatness and celebrating true excellence in gospel music. It serves a rich, diverse and excellent community of Christians in the music, creatives arts, technical, sound and other relevant areas of ministry.
