A staff of the Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Limited, Pearl Andrews, is the new champion of the women’s league of the AngloGold Ashanti Otumfuo Golf tournament.
Pearl’s skill and consistency on the course earned her the top spot claiming victory with an impressive score of 39 Stableford points.
The AngloGold 6th Otumfuo Golf Tournament was held over the weekend in Obuasi, bringing together golfing enthusiasts from various regions of the country.

The annual invitational tournament hosted by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu is not just a showcase of golfing talent but also a celebration of the close partnership between two significant golfing communities in Ghana—the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi and the Obuasi Golf Club.
Over the years, this collaboration has deepened, contributing to the development of the sport and strengthening social ties between the two clubs.
The tournament attracted golfers from all over the country, ranging from seasoned players to emerging talents competing in various categories.
This event continues to solidify its place as a key highlight on Ghana’s golfing calendar, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship while promoting the growth of golf in the region.
It also reflects the commitment of the Asantehene and the golfing community to preserving and expanding the sport's reach in Ghana.
