Asante Kotoko are expecting Sony de Ela Nguema of Equatorial Guinea on Thursday for their CAF Champions League preliminary round qualifier first leg tie.
The two-time African champions have complained that their guests have refused to inform them with their travelling itinerary.
Kotoko claim this has made planning for for Sunday’s match at the Baba Yara Stadium difficult.
“We at Kotoko sent our hosting information relating to the match venue, date and kickoff time some ten days ago but our guests have been sketchy in their release of information,” Kotoko Administrative Manager Ben Nti said.
“As we speak the only information they have sent to us is their contingent size (27 including their FA official) and the date of arrival (14th February).
“We do not know about the airline they are arriving on, neither do we know when they are expected to touch down.
“We have communicated our difficulties with our opponents’ coming and itinerary to the GFA and we are hoping that they contact their counterparts in Equitorial Guinea for us to know what to do from here on.”
