Sports Minister Dr Mustapha Ahmed has agreed to partner Ex Black Stars Captain Stephen Appiah during his Testimonial match to sign off his 17 year football Career at Accra sports stadium on June 27.
Stephen Appiah paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mustapha Ahmed to formally invite him to his testimonial dinner and match slated for the 26th and 27th of June respectively this year.
Present at the meeting was the new Chief Director of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Senaye, Ras Mubarak, CEO of Youth Employment and other officers of the ministry.
Mustapha Ahmed expressed his sincere appreciation for the invitation and added that he had envisaged organizing a similar event for Appiah had Primeval Media not taken the initiative.
Primeval Media have taken up the responsibility to put together first a fundraising dinner and then the testimonial match to show a befitting appreciation to the unrelenting efforts made by the former Juventus star towards the contribution to national development both on and off the field of play.
