Hundreds laced up their sneakers and joined Star Assurance, a leading Ghanaian insurance provider, for the 3rd edition of their annual anniversary health walk last Saturday, April 13, 2024.
The energetic event saw enthusiastic participants, including members of the Star Assurance group, families, partners, and clients, take a brisk walk from Accra Mall to the El-Wak Stadium.

Soaked in the spirit of community and healthy living, the walk kicked off with a vibrant warm-up session at the Accra Mall. Participants of all ages enjoyed the invigorating stretches before embarking on the approximately 6-kilometre journey.
Reaching the El-Wak Stadium, the atmosphere remained high-spirited as attendees took part in a fun-filled aerobics session. Certified instructors led the group through a series of exercises, keeping everyone engaged and energised.

Following the aerobic workout, Star Assurance hosted a brief but informative health talk, during which medical professionals addressed the importance of regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle in preventing diseases and promoting overall well-being.
Chief Financial Officer ( CFO) of Star Assurance, Justice Frank Offei, expressed Star Assurance's commitment to the financial security of the insuring public including their health and wellness in an interview with journalists after the health walk. Stressing further that it is this commitment that has made the institution organise the annual health walk during its anniversary celebration month.

The 3rd edition of Star Assurance's anniversary health walk was a resounding success. The event fostered a sense of community and camaraderie and emphasised the importance of prioritising health and fitness.
