A sub-chief of the Nungua Traditional Area, Nii Bubui Kakai IV, who resides in the Spintex area in Accra has found himself in the firm grips of the law on the charge of fraudulent sale of land.
Nii Bubui Kakai IV was alleged to have collected GH¢14,OOO from one Mary Ete and sold a parcel of land to her. It came to light later that the accused had already sold that same plot of land to other people.

After inspecting the plots Mary paid the money to Nii Bubui Kakai IV. However, when she went to develop the land, she was prevented from doing so by some security men from Trassaco Company who claimed that the plots had been sold to Trassaco Company.
Chief Inspector Anim stated further that Mary contacted Nii Bubui Kakai IV concerning what the security men had told her and Nii Bubm Kakai IV admitted having sold the plots to Trassaco Company and promised to give her some other plots.
