Deputy Chief Executive of the Minerals Commission, Dr Serwaa Donkor, has partnered with the Tafo Pankrono Education Directorate to organise extra tuition for students sitting the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The free tuition for pupils in both public and private schools will focus on training students to understand the rudiments of the examination.
Areas of difficulty in various study areas will be given special attention by the teachers.
With the intervention, it is expected that the performance of pupils in the constituency will improve.
"The tutorial sessions are centred on helping candidates to read and understand questions and improve and sharpen their question answering skills," Dr Serwaa Donkor.
"This great initiative will equip students with the right skills and materials to help improve their overall performance," she added.
As part of efforts to facilitate the students, examination materials, including mathematical sets, will be distributed to the over two thousand students in the constituency.
Already, parents in the constituency are upbeat about the impact of the support on the education of the students.
