Tekno is set to release a new song and it's accompanying music video on May 24, in collaboration with emPawa Africa.
The song is titled 'Wayo' and centers on the theme of love, resilience, and community.
The music video is set in Lagos and features scenes from busy streets, food trucks, and rooftops of Lagos Island capturing the true spirit and energy of the city.

The video follows a couple, Tekno and Uzoamaka, as they go through ups and downs in their relationship and they overcoming a big misunderstanding with the help of their community.
The urban backdrop of Lagos highlights the story of love and unity, celebrating human spirit and forgiveness.

The team, comprising local actors and crew, creatives worked hard under challenging conditions to bring this video to life.
The beautiful video is directed by the renowned director Dammy Twitch, founder of Polar Films Production and has worked with big brands like Google, Infinix, Tecno Mobile, and Coca-Cola.

In the music world, he has directed videos for famous artists like Davido, Da Baby, Omah Lay, and Simi.
