Telecel Ghana Chief Executive Officer, Patricia Obo-Nai, has been recognised as one of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)'s distinguished alumni in the telecommunications sector, earning a feature in the university's 75th anniversary commemorative publication, 70 Years of Global Impact.
The commemorative book, unveiled at the anniversary launch under the theme "From Excellence to Eminence: 75 Years of KNUST," celebrates alumni whose leadership, innovation and contributions have shaped industries and advanced national and global development over the past seven decades.
The commemorative publication, documenting the university's impact on national development, was unveiled by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II during a ceremony at KNUST's Great Hall with Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, the ambassadors of Spain and Japan to Ghana, traditional leaders, industry captains and alumni of the university gracing the occasion.
A proud alumna of KNUST's Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ing. Obo-Nai has built a distinguished career spanning more than two decades in Ghana's telecommunications industry. As CEO of Telecel Ghana, she has championed digital transformation, innovation, diversity in STEM, and inclusive leadership, becoming one of the country's most respected technology executives.
Her inclusion in the commemorative publication recognises her enduring impact on Ghana's digital landscape and reflects KNUST's legacy of producing graduates whose work continues to shape society, inspire future generations and drive national development.
