The Food and Drugs Board (FDB) has seized over 7,000 cartons of unwholesome fish from Tema based We 2 Sea Foods Company.
The board has discovered that some of the products, which expired last year, have been relabeled for sale.
Deputy Chief Executive of the FDB John Odame Darkwa told Joy Business the products pose serious health risks.
Officials of We 2 Sea Foods Company have been questioned by the board. Mr. Odame Darkwa says they will be punished for compromising public safety.
“…This we will not allow because you can never exchange human health for anything, not at all,” he stressed.
