Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) has announced its recognition as the second-best performing institution in the Public Financial Management (PFM) Compliance League Table released by the Ministry of Finance on March 19, 2026.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page, the refinery described the achievement as a significant milestone, highlighting its strong performance in financial management compliance among institutions under the Ministry of Finance.
Management of TOR expressed appreciation to staff and stakeholders for their contributions toward the recognition. The refinery noted that the ranking reflects a collective effort to strengthen accountability and adherence to public financial management standards.
“We are honoured by this recognition, and on behalf of Management, Tema Oil Refinery extends its gratitude to all staff and stakeholders for their collective effort in achieving this historic milestone,” the statement said.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of corporate governance and ensuring continued compliance across all aspects of its operations.
The PFM Compliance League Table, introduced by the Ministry of Finance, ranks public institutions based on their adherence to financial management rules and regulations, as part of efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in the use of public funds.
