At least eight vehicles are reported to have been involved in a crash at the Rev. John Teye Memorial Institute near Pokuase on the Achimota-Ofankor road.Adom News gathered that the vehicles include an Articulated truck, an Urvan bus, a commercial vehicle and other cars including a Police bullion van.The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday.An eyewitness, Kwadwo Ofori Dankwa who reported from the accident scene told Adom Fm that the Articulated truck was travelling from Kumasi to Accra when its brakes failed upon reaching the hill at John Teye resulting in the truck crashing into other incoming vehicles.There were no reports of fatalities at the time of filing this report but Kwadwo Ofori Dankwa said blood was oozing from one of the victims head as other victims sustained various degrees of injury.He added that victims have been taken to the hospital.
