Tertiary University Teachers Association of Ghana (TUTAG) have declared an indefinite strike action.
This follows the government's inaction on their demand for a review of fuel allowances.
According to the Association, a letter to the Ghana Tertiary Education Council and other government agencies on the matter is yet to be given attention.

"TUTAG views the inaction by these agencies as an indication that the concerns expressed in our letter have not been treated with the seriousness they deserve," TUTAG said in a November 18 statement.

In a statement signed by President, Prof. Collins Ameyaw the group reveals government has turned deaf ears to demand for the implementation of the negotiated internally generated fund-
related conditions of service.
