Two of Ghana's Weightlifters are scheduled to represent the nation at the Africa Olympic Games Weightlifting qualifier in Tunisia after putting up an excellent performance in Morocco.
Weightlifters Juliana Arkoh and Christian Amoh have been selected by the Ghana Weightlifting Federation (GWF) to seek honours in the qualifiers fixed for for April 16-25.
The two athletes have since left Accra for Tunisia to train in order to fine tune their preparations for the competition.
The two weightlifters will be training with members of Tunisian national team ahead of the qualifiers as part of the technical preparations for the competition.
Head coach of the national weightlifting team, Majeti Fetrie and other officials of the GWF are expected to join the team in Tunisia later as they are participate congress organized by the Weightlifting Federation of Africa (WFA).
