Filmmaker Tyler Perry has requested a restraining order against an employee he has accused of stalking him.
Joshua Sole was arrested for criminal trespass at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday after he allegedly tried to unsuccessfully contact the Alex Cross star the day before.
Police were called to the studio facility after Sole allegedly disengaged a power line, setting off an alarm, and then entered the studio through the ceiling.
When officers arrived, Sole was reportedly barricaded in a room. It took the authorities four hours to get to him and place him under arrest, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
In a lawsuit filed in Fulton County Superior Court on Monday, Perry asked a judge to grant a protective order, order Sole to undergo psychological evaluation and treatment and pay Perry at least $100,000.
He is also seeking $25,000 for attorneys fees for "discomfort and annoyance caused by the diminished value of peaceful enjoyment."
Hours after his arrest, Sole was released on $7,000 bail.
