A political science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Dr Kpessah Whyte has condemned acts of vandalism by angry NDC youth in Tamale who are protesting the appointments so far made by President John Mahama.
The party youth do not understand why Haruna Iddrisu has not yet been given any ministerial appointment by the president.
In anger, they brought down huge bill boards with the imposing frame of the president and burnt it, threatening to continue their acts of vandalism if their MP was not appointed by the president.
In an interview with Joy News Dr Whyte said the action by the youth must not be countenanced in any shape or form.
He said the police must take steps to arrest person found culpable, insisting, the country must desist from the regional and factional agitations, otherwise we may be creating a much bigger problem for Ghana.
