The National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the weekend elected its two parliamentary candidates unopposed in Navrongo and Bolgatanga.
They were Mr Mark Woyongo and Mr Opam Brown respectively. The two pledged to work hard to champion the party to victory, come 2008 elections.
They appealed to party delegates not to relent in their efforts in winning more souls for the party.
The Bolgatanga Constituency Chairman, Mr Epsona Ayamga, expressed optimism that the party was sure of recapturing power in the forthcoming election.
He stated that Ghanaians just wanted a change and that was why they voted the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to power and had seen the difference and hard conditions they were facing now and would not hesitate to vote the NPP out of power.
Mr Ayamga urged delegates to embark on door-to-door campaigns to enable the party to unseat the NPP government.
