“Our thoughts and prayers are with you,” the release read. “We urge the entire Technical University community to observe this period with utmost solemnity and respect, in honour of our departed compatriots.”
“May their souls find peaceful repose in the bosom of eternity, and may their families be comforted by the nation's gratitude and the legacy of their comradeship and patriotism,” the statement stated.
The statement concluded with a unifying call to the nation.
“In this difficult period, let us come together as one people united in grief and committed to the Ghana they died serving. God be with us all.”
