Ghana Women's Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, were held to a scoreless draw in their second game in the ongoing WAFU Zone B women's Champions League qualifiers against Bayelsa Queens Football Club.
The game, which took place on Wednesday, August 24, saw the two leaders in group B go head-to-head after winning their first games respectively.
Bayelsa Queens came into the encounter the more dangerous side following a 5-0 win in their opening game while Ampem Darkoa Ladies were 3-0 winners in the first game.
However, the Ghanaian side proved too strong for the Nigerian side as they failed to score any goal past Amepem Darkoa.
After 90 minutes of action, neither Ampem Darkoa Ladies nor Bayelsa Queens were able to score a goal in the game as the fixture ended 0-0.
Grace Acheampong was voted the Most Valuable Player in the encounter.
In the other group game, Burkina Faso's USFA defeated Athleta Football Club with a 5-1 scoreline.
Wednesday's results mean Bayelsa Queens and Ampem Darkoa Ladies move to four points each while USFA now have three points.
The Nana Mma ladies will face Athleta FC in their last group game on Sunday, August 27.
