The National Organizer for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan has advised NDC members who rain insults on the NPP Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo to stop the practice.
Yaw Boateng Gyan said castigating Nana Akufo-Addo does not auger well for the country, but issues of developmental projects should be the agenda.
He has, therefore asked the NDC to put an end to insults on the NPP’s flag bearer.
He has also asked the NPP to pardon NDC members who have been insulting Nana Akufo-Addo.
The National Organizer said this in an interview with Adom news in relation to an apology rendered to President Mills by NPP MP Kennedy Agyapong, who had earlier described the President as “a jail bird” at an NPP rally in Accra.
Mr. Boateng Gyan said the apology from the NPP MP for Assin north to President Mills is accepted and called on other politicians to refrain from insulting their opponents.
