Pastor Anthony Mensah of the Assemblies of God church, Suhum New Town branch, has urged the youth to walk in God's truth in order that they will be successful.
Preaching the gospel at a special church programme for the youth at the weekend, Pastor Mensah noted that sinful acts had increased among the youth, therefore advising them to shun all forms of unholy practices.
He charged parents with the duty to set few basic but strict rules at homes for their children to follow in order to save them from going wayward.
According to him, lack of such rules in most homes has contributed to indiscipline in society.
Pastor Mensah also urged leaders of the church to continue to selflessly pursue the preaching of Christ.
He advised them not to shy away from speaking against negative tendencies, particularly in the church and society, adding that Christians must believe and trust in God for all their needs.
Pastor Mensah urged Christians not only to be preachers of God's word but also they must put into practice the work of Christ by serving humanity.
He called on Christians to renew their faith in God to enable them stand the challenges of the time.
