Yang Yang, Chief Executive Officer of Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd., has made history by securing two top accolades at the 2025 GWM Experience Awards held in Dubai, highlighting Ghana’s rising prominence in the West African automotive market.
She was honoured with the “Outstanding Sales Growth in West Africa” and “Outstanding Distributor Manager” awards, recognising her exceptional leadership and the company’s impressive performance.
The awards ceremony, held at the Al Habtoor Hotel, saw leading distributors from across Africa and beyond compete for recognition.

Yang Yang distinguished herself by driving strong sales in Ghana and orchestrating the early launch of GWM’s TANK 700 SUV, a move that outpaced many larger and more established markets.
Her achievements were particularly notable given the traditionally competitive landscape dominated by regions with higher sales volumes.
Speaking after receiving the awards, Yang expressed gratitude and emphasised the significance of the recognition for Ghana’s automotive industry.

“This is not only a personal honour but a testament to the dedication of our entire team in Ghana,” she said. “It underscores Ghana’s potential as a strategic hub for GWM’s growth in West Africa.”
Yang also highlighted her commitment to strengthening the company’s market presence.
She assured stakeholders that Zonda Tec Ghana Ltd. will continue investing in after-sales service, dealer development, and talent training to enhance customer experience and support sustainable growth.
