Three male students of the Adeiso Presbyterian Senior High School (SHS) have died after their motorbike was involved in an accident on Sunday evening.
They were riding on a single motorcycle from Nsawam to Asamakese when they had a head-on collision with a Hyundai bus at Roman, a suburb of Adeiso.
Sixteen others, including the driver and the mate of the bus, sustained various degrees of injuries after their vehicle somersaulted.
Those injured are said to be responding to treatment at the Nsawam Government Hospital.
The identities of the deceased whose names have been given only as Nana, Yaw and Kwame, sources say are between the ages of 16 and 18.
An eyewitness said the overspeeding motorcycle overtook three buses ahead of it and crashed into the on coming bus.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Nsawam Government Hospital.
