The fourth edition of the Luv FM Primary School Quiz has been launched at a colourful event at the Kumasi City Mall.
At the audition stage, 60 public and private schools registered to compete.
The 33 schools selected after the audition will join the 2022 finalists, Manna International School, Hancygold School and the Ridge School for the 2023 contest.
In the next five weeks, these 36 primary schools in the Ashanti Region will face off for knowledge in a variety of subjects while entertaining listeners and viewers.
All the 36 schools participated in the launch and balloting event today, February 27.
Speaking at the event, Pro Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor Elis Owusu-Dabo, encouraged participants not to be limited by anything as they begin the contest.
“Have it in mind that the sky is not the limit. There is absolutely no limit for you. As you begin this contest, don't be frightened or limited by anything,” he said.
He is confident of an exciting, competitive and educative contest.
According to the Sales and Marketing Manager of Luv FM, Isaac Antwi, “We have over the past three editions experienced a highly competitive contest and this season is expected to be no exception”.
He added ”In the coming weeks, the contesting pupils in the Quiz are expected to treat our listeners and audience to an exciting and intellectually stimulating show of prowess in competing.


Defending champions, Manna International School are hopeful of holding onto the title for the second time.
The Luv FM Primary School Quiz will be aired on the Joy Learning Channel on MultiTv, Luv FM and other social media platforms.
