Sensational music group 5Five made up of Luther Azamati (Papi), Jeffery Opoku Agyekum (Killy) and George Owusu (Jyino) will be leaving the country for the UK to participate in Ghana’s 54th Independence anniversary celebrations scheduled to take place at the Indigo 02 Arena. The 02 Arena is widely known for hosting several international concerts and artistes. With a capacity of up to 23,000 depending on the event, it is one of the largest indoor arenas in Europe. The late Michael Jackson was preparing for series of 50 shows at the venue which was supposed to take place from July 13, 2009 to March 6, 2010, when he died of cardiac arrest. Papi, a member of the group disclosed to Hitz Entertainment News that, they will be leaving the country early next week and will be back first week of April. “We will be staying in the UK for the Ghana Independence. We have done three or four show in the UK and different ones in Holland and Denmark,” Papi said. He further said the Independence Day concert being put together by Abrantie, Allodia and West Coast Promotions will be staged on March 5 and will also feature some other renowned Ghanaian artistes including Castro and Asamoah Gyan, and Iwan. Papi said they are likely to stage four other shows in the UK, and some other shows which are yet to be confirmed at other venues outside the UK including Holland and Denmark.
