A 27year old man, Joseph Osei has been arrested for defrauding several people under the guise of working with Ace investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Mr Osei is said to have extorted monies from companies after blackmailing them that he, together with the assistance of Anas, are conducting some investigations on the activities of the companies.
He was arrested by the Adabraka Police after a tip off from one of his victims.
The Crime Officer for the Adabraka Police Command DSP Ebenezer Nketiah confirmed the story to Joy News on Saturday.
According to him, Osei extorted 200.00 cedis from his first victim and 10,200 cedis from his second victim.
He is in police custody, pending further investigations and prosecution.
