Some board members of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital are receiving threats from one of its suspended employee and his cohorts.
The suspended employee, Anthony Kpammah, a ward clerk at the hospital was sacked some weeks ago after the disciplinary board sanctioned him for holding a news conference to attack management without following laid down procedure.
He had called for the reinstatement of former Director of Administration, Nelson Menorkpor but he was suspended instead by the Board.
Mr Kpammah has since been issuing threats to board members through text messages and phone calls.
Some of the board members revealed threats they received from Kpammah and his allies.
"How can you call and say that if we don't bring the old director of administration back we will not have peace in Korle-Bu? Over my dead body," one of the board members said.
A formal complaint is yet to be made to the police.
