The Korle-Bu Blood Bank is expressing worry over inadequate supply of blood even after several appeals to the public.
The bank has in recent times embarked on several initiatives to encourage the public to donate blood to save lives in times of emergencies.
Multi TV’s, Yaa Fosuah Gyamfi who spent a day at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital tells the story of a 38 year old woman, Linda Arthur who needed four pints of blood but could get only one simply because of inadequate supplies at the bank.
