PUSAG applauds Mahama, new Education Minister

The Private Universities Students’ Association of Ghana (PUSAG), the governing body of all private universities students in Ghana has applauded the appointment of Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman as Education Minister. A statement signed by the President of the Association Elias Zugah described the minister as most qualified to handle the position. The newly appointed Minister of State has an enviable credential both in the academic laureates and as a technocrat in Ghana’s education,” the statement touted. Zugah pledged the students’ support for the Minister in order for her to achieve her set goals which she clearly espoused during her vetting. The President of the Association was also grateful to President John Mahama for appointing the Prof to her new portfolio.
