Pharmacists in government hospitals across the country say they would go ahead with their intended strike after their one week ultimatum if they do not hear any positive response to all outstanding salary issues. The Fair Wages & Salaries commission is pleading with their leadership to wait for guidelines for the implementation of the market premium.
But the GHOSPA’s spokesperson Ernest Owusu Aboagye told Joy News they are ready to engage stakeholders but if nothing positive comes out, they will be forced to suspend their services. We have already gotten indications of an engagement with the Labour Commission. We are ready to engage everybody.
