T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School are champions of the 2018 edition of Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Soccer Championship following victory over Opoku Ware Senior High School in the final on Monday.
They beat Opoku Ware 4-3 on penalties to lift the cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The two Kumasi-based schools were tied at 1-1 after regulation time.
OWASS opened the scoring from the spot few minutes into the second half but T.I AMASS restored parity in the 70th minute.
Handled by Prince 'Sabuto' Acheampong, a former Asante Kotoko and King Faisal assistant coach, T.I AMASS lifted their first trophy since 2009.
In the third place, Asanteman senior high school managed to beat Islamic senior high school 4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw.
