Manchester United's Ryan Giggs is to travel to Turkey this week as part of his attempts to acquire the UEFA Pro Licence coaching badge, according to the Times.
Giggs, 39, signed a new contract at Old Trafford in March, meaning his playing career will continue into the 2013-14 season.
But the Welshman is also working on his coaching qualifications, having already gained his UEFA A and B licences.
He is now in the process of gaining his UEFA Pro Licence, which is a mandatory requirement for those wishing to coach in Europe's top divisions or the Champions League.
The Times reports Giggs will head to Turkey on Thursday, where the Under-20 World Cup is taking place, to take part in a course that will also include such participants as Gary Neville and Paul Ince.
Giggs is said to have taken part in some coaching duties under former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson last season, with that role set to continue under new manager David Moyes.
