Hearts of Oak captain Mahatma Otoo won the 2012 Sports Writers Association of Ghana Premiership Player of the Year.
He single-handedly led the capital club to fifth place and ended the 2012/2013 Ghana Premier League season as top scorer with 20 goals.
Otoo’s competing for the award with Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffu and Amidaus Professionals captain Yahaya Mohammed.
The Ghana international is expected to leave the club this transfer window after being linked with a host of clubs abroad.
The 38th MTN SWAG Awards at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
