Black Satellites coach Sellas Tetteh is backing his side to sneak past the highly rated Portuguese side when the two teams go into action on Wednesday at the Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri in the round of 16 clash.
The Seleccao have brushed aside their previous opponents with relative ease and have scored a worrying ten goals so far in the tournament.
Tetteh, who won the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt, said at the pre-match conference he is refusing to be intimidated by the attacking threat of his opponents.
"Their form in front of goal is enough to frighten anyone, ten goals in three games is no mean achievement," said Sellas Tetteh
"They are a free scoring side with a solid technical team, we have taken great pains to have a look at all their games and have noticed a few things which we will try to exploit.
"A lot of things do happen in the course of games and it will incumbent on the bench to map out the right strategies to outwit our opponents. Hopefully, we can get a result after the game."
This is an opportunity for the Black Satellites to step up and be counted like they did against the USA.
The winner of this game would come up against either Croatia or Chile at the quarter final stage.
