Ghana goalkeeper Danie Agyei will complete his move to Free State Stars on Monday after passing a medical with the South African side.
The 23-year-old will sign a three-year deal with Ea Lla Koto for an undisclosed fee.
Agyei joins the South African side after spending over five years at Accra-based Liberty Professionals.
He is Ghana’s third choice goalkeeper and must fight for regular action to maintain his position in the Black Stars.
“I am ready for the challenge. Life is all about challenges and so I’m not perturbed at all,” Agyei said
“I have been there (South Africa) several times and so I know their weather condition, philosophy. I know their rules and so I’m not worried at all.
“I have been assured by the coach that if I continue to play regularly, my position in the Black Stars will not be under threat.
Agyei becomes the latest Ghanaian player to join a South African side after Rashid Sumaila signed for Sundowns while Ashantigold duo Fatau Dauda and Yakubu Mohammed completed their moves to Orlando Pirates.
